Account & Data Deletion
At AuctionMandu, we respect your right to control your personal data. You can request the deletion of your account and all associated data at any time.
How to Delete Your Account
Option 1: In-App Deletion (Recommended)
- Log in to your AuctionMandu account
- Go to Profile Settings
- Scroll to the "Delete Account" section at the bottom
- Enter your password to confirm
- Click "Delete My Account"
Option 2: Email Request
If you are unable to access your account, you can request deletion by sending an email to support@auctionmandu.com from the email address associated with your account. Include "Account Deletion Request" in the subject line. We will process your request within 7 business days.
What Data Gets Deleted
When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed:
- Profile Information: Your name, email address, phone number, and profile picture
- Authentication Data: Passwords, OAuth tokens, and refresh tokens
- Saved Auctions: All your bookmarked/saved auction listings
- Notifications: All notification history and preferences
- OAuth Connections: Google and Facebook account links are permanently disconnected
What Data May Be Retained
Certain data may be retained for legal and operational reasons:
- Inquiry Records: Your inquiries are anonymized (personal details removed) but the record may be retained for the bank's reference
- Legal Obligations: Data required to be retained by law or regulation
- Fraud Prevention: Minimal data necessary to prevent fraud or abuse
Processing Timeline
- In-App Deletion: Immediate — your account is deleted instantly upon confirmation
- Email Request: Within 7 business days of receiving your verified request
- Backup Purge: Data is removed from all backup systems within 30 days
Important Notes
- Account deletion is permanent and irreversible
- You will lose access to all saved auctions and notification history
- If you wish to use AuctionMandu again, you will need to create a new account
- Any active inquiries you have submitted will remain anonymous in the system
